Langtved Data develops clinical data bases for use in research and quality assurance as well
as work streamlining and management:
- Allergen is a clinical database for
registration of contact allergy. The database is run by the National Allergy
Research Centre at the Copenhagen Regional Hospital in Gentofte. Databases are
located at Odense University Hospital, Århus University Hospital, and the
Copenhagen Regional Hospital in Gentofte. The database is based on LDB Desktop
with add-ons. In the process of implementation of Allergen
more than 10,000 patient data records were validated and subsequently
converted from legacy systems.
- Mammografi (Mammography) is installed at
Odense University Hospital for quality control and management of mammography
screening. It has been in use for more than 10 years, has been upgraded
several times and is based on the LDB Desktop framework.
- NeoBase has been running for more than 10
years at 8 Danish hospitals and handles quality assurance in the treatment of
prematurely born babies. NeoBase has been upgraded several times and is based
on LDB Desktop.
- Udenregion (Out-of-Region) handles the
administration of treatments that are performed out of the Region of Southern Denmark. Originally
developed for the County of Funen, it has been in use for more than 10 years
and has now had extended capabilities added. It is used for the whole Region
of Southern Denmark. The system is based on LDB Desktop.
- MoonRaker This program is specifically
made to calculate trajectories between Earth and the Moon. It uses highly
sophisticated techniques taking ephemerides of both Earth and Moon into account.
In addition, it will calculate the rises and sets of the space vehicle seen from
any observer point on Earth. The program runs as a Windows program and uses
Jet Propulsion Lab Horizon ephemerides. Click on Space for more information.
